The White Cliffs of Dover

(It wont let me turn it, so just turn your head to the left and youll be fine)

Me and Teresa went to Dover this past weekend, it was pretty awesome. We took the bus there and then walked to the B&B we stayed at. We first got there and the lady was so nice and told us where to go and stuff.

First we climbed the white cliffs and it took us forever, we pretty much walked for miles, but it was sooo pretty. Too bad the ferry port is right there, it ruins the scenery. You can see France from there but it was too foggy, its only 22 miles from the cliffs.
We also went to the castle and it was really pretty and big. We had to waste time there so we sat for a while and listened to music and enjoyed the view. In world war 2 soldiers used to stay in tunnels under the cliffs and we got to go on a tour which was pretty great. Yeah so we pretty much had a great time.

  1. It was really cool to read about “The White Cliffs of Dover”. It remainded me this text by Ernest Hemingway "Hills Like White Elephants". Hemingway deals with concepts such as the conflict between personal responsibility and hedonism; rhetorical and psychological manipulation; coming of age; and the dynamics of the romantic relationship and its metamorphosis into the family. But, it also has to do with the lifestyles and attitudes of the post-World War I “lost generation” of American expatriates in Europe.
This is just to say that I liked your note about the picture (it wont let me turn it, so just turn your head to the left and you’ll be fine). It also can be a methaphor. I hope this experience you are having in London, will be like “The White Cliffs of Dover”, and will turn your life around!
    Love ya!
